Pratt Philosopher on Climate War Rhetoric

Eric Godoy, assistant chairperson of Social Science and Cultural Studies, published a piece written with Aaron Jaffe today in the New York Times Philosophy Blog, "The Stone." The op-ed questions the effectiveness of using war rhetoric for mobilizing a response to climate change. It suggests instead a "green revolution": "Climate change demands not only a race to develop and deploy new energy technologies, but a revolution to democratize all forms of power — fossil fuels, wind, solar, but most important, economic and political power."
