Congratulations to alum Selin Bucak ('12), who recently completed her studies for the Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, U. of London, the world's leading institution for the study of Asia, Africa and the Middle East.  Selin is currently a journalist for The Global Journal, an international monthly and is a co-founder of Black & Red PR, a boutique PR Agency based in London: http://blackandredpr.com/ 
Selin's Senior Thesis here was on Freedom of Expression in Turkey: A Contested Public Sphere, and her current work continues that research into present events in Gezi Park and around the Mediterranean.
